For High School Seniors going to college in the 2019-2020 School year.

FAFSA is like a free raffle ticket for Student Aid.
It is a chance for many to “win” up to $6,095 a year for college from the Federal Pell Grant.
It is a way to see how you qualify for many scholarships, grants, and other forms of aid.

EVERY senior student should fill out the FAFSA.
Even if, you are “sure” you will not get any financial aid. Even if, you are going to community college. Even if, you are planning on a “gap year”. Even if, you feel like you can't go to college.
The average student who did not file, left nearly $10 K ($9,741.05) - that could have helped with some form of college.

It is not just important to file before Nov 1. The best day to file is Oct 1, the next best day is Oct 2… quite a few of these sources are first come, first serve.
The form may be a little boring… but, I promise it is worth your time and effort.

There is a mobile app to make it easier.
